Mathias Zagoni is a Director of Photography for film and television. Based in Tel Aviv with EU citizenship, he frequently works on location across Europe, particularly in Athens.
Mathias approaches each project looking for a specific visual language. For him, the camera is an active participant in the scene. He specializes in continuous, dynamic shots that let the narrative unfold in real time, giving actors the physical space to inhabit their roles.
On the logistical side, Zagoni brings a highly structured approach to large-scale international co-productions. Accustomed to the fast-paced demands of major sets, he is highly experienced in managing extensive camera departments and coordinating with diverse, multinational crews, ensuring seamless collaboration across all technical departments.
